Dental Trauma
Dental trauma injuries in both the permanent as well as in the primary dentition are very common. Young individuals with dental trauma to a permanent front tooth bring a major impact on quality of daily life and self-confidence. These children and adolescents suffer from a socio-psychological issues as the mouth are of primary importance for facial esthetics. Therefore, it is very important that the emergency treatment is done correctly since it is decisive for both the short- and long-term treatment outcome.
This lecture will present what is best practice when treating dental trauma injuries in both the primary as well the permanent dentition.
Presentation about Dr. Georgios Tsilingaridis
Dr. Georgios Tsilingaridis graduated at the Karolinska Institute in 1997. In 2004, he completed his pediatric dentistry specialisation at the Eastman Institute in Stockholm, and in 2013 he defended his doctoral dissertation at the Karolinska Institute.
He is currently associate professor, head of the division of Orthodontics and Pediatrc Dentistry at the department of Dental Medicine, Karolinska Institutet. He is also director of studies for all post-graduate education in the Region of Stockholm.
He is the past-president of the Swedish Society of Pediatric Dentistry and the past-president of the Swedish national group of directors for studies for postgraduate education. He was a board-member of the IADT during 2019-2020 and still works in several committees in the IADT.
He is the author and co-author of several original scientific publications, co-author of Chapters 12, 16 and 17 in the Textbook and Color Atlas of Traumatic Injuries to the Teeth, 5th Edition, and co-author of the recently published IADT trauma guidelines.

Kr 500,- for tannpleiere i NTpF (Norsk Tannpleierforening).
Medlemsnummer i NTF og NTpF må oppgis ved påmelding.
Betaling kan gjøres med kort, Vipps eller faktura. Fakturagebyr kr 75,- tilkommer ved fakturautsendelse.
